Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 14, 2026. This Privacy Policy describes how Cameron Williams (“we,” “us”) uses information in connection with customer-messaging software he is developing and testing, and with the current development/test SMS program.
Operator: Cameron Williams. Contact: admin@cameronwilliamstech.com. The current A2P SMS campaign sends messages only from Cameron Williams to designated test recipients who explicitly opt in. SMS enrollment is optional and is not required to browse this website. SMS consent is separate from these Terms and the Privacy Policy. Third-party client messaging is not covered by this A2P campaign.
1. Information we collect
Depending on how the software is used during development and testing, we may store:
- Administrator account email and optional display name
- Internal records used to develop the software (including test conversation data)
- Mobile numbers provided through the public SMS opt-in form, in E.164 format
- SMS and conversation content from development/test messaging
- Consent evidence for the web-form opt-in (the exact disclosure shown, disclosure version, timestamp, and the phone number provided). Prior consent events are kept; they are not rewritten.
- Technical information needed to operate the service, such as authentication session data and server logs (phone numbers in logs are masked where implemented)
We do not operate public marketing signup forms, advertising cookies, or a consumer account profile system. The public development/test SMS opt-in form is for designated test recipients only. It is not a marketing signup.
2. How information is used
We use this information to:
- Develop and test customer-messaging / SMS workflows operated by Cameron Williams
- Send development/test SMS only to designated recipients who opted in
- Manage SMS conversations and delivery status during testing
- Honor STOP/START messaging preferences
- Operate, secure, and troubleshoot the application
- Meet legal, carrier, and A2P/10DLC compliance obligations
The current application does not send AI-generated messages, does not send unsolicited marketing, and does not send recurring promotional messages. No messages are sent on behalf of client businesses under this campaign.
3. SMS and mobile information
Mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, and messaging consent are not sold, rented, shared, or provided to third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
For this development/test campaign, the declared opt-in method is the public web form at https://cameronwilliamstech.com/sms-opt-in. Creating an internal software record is not SMS consent. An unknown consent status is not affirmative consent. Opted-in test recipients may reply conversationally during testing; those replies are not a second enrollment path for this campaign. Marketing SMS is not part of the current program.
4. Service providers
Infrastructure providers process data only as needed to run the service. They are not given SMS consent or mobile numbers for their own marketing. Current providers include:
- Twilio, for sending and receiving SMS and related delivery events
- Supabase, for authentication and application database hosting
- Vercel, for hosting the application
5. Data retention
We have not implemented a fixed automatic deletion schedule. Information is retained only as reasonably necessary to operate the service, meet legal and compliance requirements, support security, and carry out legitimate purposes related to developing and testing the software.
6. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect information, including authenticated administrator access and least-privilege handling of provider callbacks. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we do not guarantee that unauthorized access cannot occur.
7. SMS choices
- Reply STOP to opt out of SMS from this program.
- Reply START to re-opt in where the carrier and Twilio support it.
- Reply HELP, or contact us at the address below, for help.
- Opt-out requests are honored. The application blocks outbound SMS to opted-out numbers and does not provide an override.
8. SMS program disclosures
Message frequency varies based on development and testing activity. Message and data rates may apply. Carrier delivery is not guaranteed. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
More detail is on the SMS Terms / Messaging page and in our Terms.
